NECIC is proud to announce the launch of the Business Plan Writing Course and Microloan program!
The goal of the program is to assist potential low-income and minority small business owners in exploring the concepts of entrepreneurship, to determine if entrepreneurship is a pathway out of poverty. We know that there are many people in the community with fantastic ideas and the internal assets to succeed as business owners. We want to support these people in their journey of becoming a business owner.
In the Business Plan Writing Course, our Certified Business Advisor (CBA) will take you through the step-by-step process of writing a business plan that you can use to launch your startup and look for funding. After completing the 9-session course, not only will you have a business plan ready to use to launch your startup, but you will also be eligible to apply for a microloan (of at least $500).

The first class will be January 31 and graduation will be February 28. The course will be repeated throughout the year, so participants can sign up to attend in other months if they cannot attend the February session.
